This policy explains how Buoyency (a sole proprietorship registered in Istanbul, Türkiye — Doğan Can Gültekin) handles personal data in connection with istanbulboatparty.com. We aim to comply with Türkiye's KVKK and, for visitors in the EU/EEA, the GDPR.

1. What we collect

This is a simple promotional website with no sign-up or contact forms, so we collect very little directly:

Messages you send us — if you contact us by WhatsApp, Instagram or email, we receive the information you choose to share (e.g. name, phone/handle, your questions).
Basic technical data — like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard server logs (e.g. IP address, browser type) to deliver and secure the site.
Analytics / advertising — we may use tools such as Google Search Console and, if enabled, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand traffic and measure advertising. These may set cookies or similar identifiers. The Meta Pixel is only active if a Pixel ID has been configured on the site.

We do not sell tickets on this site, so we do not collect payment data here. Ticket purchases happen on our ticketing partner's platform (Biletimgo), which has its own privacy policy.

2. Why we use it

To respond to your enquiries and manage bookings you ask about.
To operate, secure and improve the website.
To measure and, where enabled, to run and optimise advertising for our events.

3. Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers that help us run the site and our events, including: our hosting provider (Cloudflare), our ticketing partner (Biletimgo), and analytics/advertising platforms where enabled (e.g. Google, Meta). We do not sell your personal data.

4. Cookies

The site itself uses minimal cookies. If analytics or the Meta Pixel are enabled, they may set cookies for measurement and advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

5. Your rights

Under KVKK and, where applicable, the GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymise it.
